Waffle day is from a pun on "Our Lady's Day" which
in Swedish is Vårfrudagen. Spoken sloppily it sounds
almost like Vårffeldagen, or Waffle Day. Hence it is a
good day to make Swedish waffles. And, hey, ANY day is
a good day for that, so why not March 25th?
