Suriname

The Republic of Suriname is north of Brazil in South America. There are large numbers of Christians, Hindus, and Muslims.

Independence Day, November 25. Independent since November 25, 1975.
Revolution Day, February 25.
National Union Day, July 1. Also Emancipation Day.
