Sanusi Army Day, August 9. Honors the internal security forces.
Troop Withdrawal Day, near June 30. Commemorates the withdrawal of foreign troops.
National Day, September 1. Commemorates the overthrow in 1969 of King Idris I, which lead to the establishment of a republic.
King's Birthday, March 12. No longer observed since the king was deposed [I assume].
