Hangul is a 24 letter phonetic alphabet.
Chuseok, occurs in September or October. Korean thanksgiving day.
Occurs on 15th day of 8th lunar month (eighth full moon of lunar calendar).
Constitution Day, July 17. Commemorates the constitution of 1948.
Liberation Day, August 15. Commemorates the liberation from Japanese rule in 1945, and the inauguration of the
republic on this day in 1948.
