Jamaica is an island in the Caribbean Sea.

Independence Day, first Monday in August (Aug 2, 2004). This day ends the five day Jamaica Festival. Commemorates the independence acheived on August 6, 1962.
Heroes' Day, third Monday in October (Oct 18, 2004).
Labour Day, May 23.
