Republic Day, November 28. Anniversary of the proclamation of the republic in 1958.
Independence Day, January 11. Originally celebrated on the anniversary of the day, August 11th, 1960, when Chad acheived independence, but was moved to January 11 to avoid the rainy season.
Africa Day, May 25. Anniversary of the formation of the Organization of African Unity in 1963.
Creation of the Union of Central African States Day, April 2. Anniversary of the Union's establishment in 1968.
