Armenia

The Republic of Armenia, located north-east of Turkey, is one of the former Soviet Socialist Republics.

Martyrs' Day, April 24. This day is in memory of the Armenians slaughtered by the Turks in 1915 and 1916.
Republic Day, May 28. Anniversary of the Declaration of First Armenian Republic in 1918.

Public holidays   Christmas (Jan 6), Easter (Orthodox), Martyrs' Day, Republic Day.
