American Samoa

This External Territory of the United States is made up of seven islands in the Pacific Ocean.

Flag Day, April 17. Commemorates the anniversary of the signing of the Instrument of Cession in 1900, in acceptance of Theodore Roosevelt's invitation, and the anniversary of the establishment of a Samoan constitutional government in 1960.
